Why don't you have a sign in front of the building?
While it may seem like a good thing to have roadside advertising, the studio isn't meant for people to just 'drop-in' since it doesn't have employees or staff to answer questions. While members are in the studio, it's important that their work time is uninterrupted.
What type of kilns do you use?
All of the studio glazes are fired in an electric kiln to cone 6, but members have the opportunity to participate in special firings like raku and wood/salt kiln firings.
Is there parking?
If i'm a member, can I bring my friends/family to use the studio?
Members are permitted to have one visitor with them while at the studio, but visitors may NOT use the studio equipment.
Can members of the studio also come to classes?
Unfortunately there's only enough room for class participants at class, so members are not permitted during class time. If members would like to enroll in a class, their membership can be placed on hold, and continue after the class is complete.
Do you offer private lessons/parties?
Private parties at the Lititz Clay Studio are a great way to share time with friends and family, and can be run in the same manner as a Date Night. To discuss scheduling or details, please email Nate.
