Generosity at its finest
When I began putting together the Kickstarter campaign for the studio, I wanted some upper-tier options, but I wasn't very confident they would be filled. They were 'wishes' more than anything, but it didn't take long for me to feel the strength and warmth of generosity. Not only were people willing to give a large sum of money, but willing to pass along the Kickstarter 'reward' to someone else.
I hope through these four, year-long scholarships, the new members feel the power that a positive community can bring to a studio and workspace, and that the donors feel that their contributions have benefitted more than just one person. Generosity can easily create a ripple affect, and to the four backers of these scholarship, thank you for starting the wave.
